Hello,

I have a series of VSX 8K codecs that were installed over the years and I'm having trouble getting them to talk to new devices.  The main location that acts as an MCU is currently running Release 8.0.3 - 06Oct2005.

My question is how far can I upgrade without having to purchase new keys?  Would 8.7.1 be considered a major revision and need a new key, or is it only if going to 9.x?

Thank you,

8.5 is the first release that required a license.  You will need a key to go higher than 8.0.3

Where can we download 8.0.3 from? oldest version available is 8.6.3 on http://support.polycom.com/PolycomService/support/us/support/video/vsx_series/vsx8000_series.html
