I have downloaded Real Presence Desktop for Mac release_3.5.0_59579 following the links on the Dutch and international website.

After installing the software tuens out to be in Czech or Polish or something. I have retried but with same result.

I need a link to either the Dutch or English version of the software.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The RealPresence Desktop release notes => here <= state as supported languages:

 

  • The RealPresence Desktop user interface supports the following languages: English, International Spanish, French, German, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Russian, Portuguese, Kazakh, Czech, and Traditional Chinese

As you can see by the above statement Dutch is not a supported language.

Dear Steffen

I don't need a Dutch version, English will suffice. However, if I redownload and re-install the software (Mac) using the link you provided, the program miraculoulsy is in Czech language again, NOT English. See screen shot.

My Mac OSX 10.11.3 is in Dutch but with a lot of other programs in English. That works just fine.

meanwhile i figured out the solution to get the English version working on Mac OS:

- de-install real presence desktop

- go to language & region under system preferences

- if English is not the primary language, drag English to the 2nd position in the list of prefered languages

- make sure all other languages are listed below English

- re-install real presence desktop

The software should be working in English now.

thanks for getting back in this matter.

 

I also contacted our developers to get an official answer on this.

 

Maybe we need to add a selection section for the language in case anyone wants to change it.
