We have recently purchase an Eagle Eye Director II for a conference room and it has trouble tracking the talker via USB mode. We have also a Trio 8800 which is connected to a docking station via USB as well. https://support.polycom.com/content/dam/polycom-support/products/peripherals/eagle-eye-director-ii/s... (I have setted up the EED II like on page 8).

Is there a fix for this?

Hello @Sunil_OE ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

USB 2.0 limits the cable length to 5 meters (or about 16 feet and 5 inches). You are using a cable outside the specification.

Hi @Sunil_OE

give us more info about your enviroment, please. What device is connected with the EED2 (PC, Group, Visual Pro, MTR?)?

What is the software version of the EED2? Newest one, if not do an update first.

As mementions the EED2 is connecting docking station (USB). The cable between the EED2 is about 10m long and its USB 2.0. The Room is 20 meters long and both sides of the room is glass. Its also on the latest version (updated it via windows).
