Hello FDS,

the likelihood that this is caused by the camera firmware is near 0%

Most likely either your own firewall or the far ends firewall or the network in between is blocking some ports.

The HDX Admin Guide explains what ports are being used and must be open.

Alternatively the community search would show multiple posts discussing this in addition.

If you can see near video when not in the call then your camera is OK. Please follow Steffen's advice to find the cause.

Thanks your reply. Actually I even cannot see the near end video, so I suspect the camera firmware incompatible with HDX. thanks

Hello FDS,

again, the likelihood that this is caused by the camera firmware is near 0%

Usually there is no need to upgrade any firmware in the field.

Some information if this is a new codec or a used codec and if this has ever worked is useful.

If you cannot see your own picture when the codec is running I suggest to check all the cabling is properly housed.

If above is not the root cause please work with your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support to troubleshoot this further.

Best Regards
