Dears,

 

I face the strange problem , every time power on hdx 8000 endpoint , mointor1 appeare near picture that have configured as (16:9,Component,1080,near,far) , but the problem on monitor 2 appeare black that have configured as (Monitor 1 Image,VGA,1024*768,near,far,content) and i should change the configuration of monitor 2 from VGA to DVI and return it to VGA again to appeare picture , i want to know the reason of disappeare the picture on monitor 2 in every time endpont boot.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to provide the currently used software Version as this may help yourself or others to check against the publicly available release notes.

 

It sounds like a current open bug (VIDESC-10192) but without the relevant details or logs its hard to tell.

 

I suggest you work with your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support directly.

First of all you have to ensure the moniter ports of display device as well as codec are working fine.check with to swap display device with codec moniter port which is operational right now.

the original poster clearly stated that this only happens when the unit is powered up and changing the settings to a different value and then changing back fixes the issue until the next reboot.

 

Myself, as a Polycom employee, had responded that this sounds like a know bug and requested the original poster to work the correct escalation path.

 

You have , as reminded => here <=, over 50 post's to update and I would suggest you do this first before answering any other post's.

I already call Polycom reseller and Polycom support in KSA for along time  without any reply about this issue and i post here to fix the problem which repeate every time when polycom endpoint boot.
