Hi,

i performed a fw upgrade on a HDX 7000 this morning from 3.01 to 3.05.  After this the ISDN bridge shows me a status of red arrows (all four of them).  I powercycled, removed and inserted all ISDN cabling.  Still same problem.  The lights on the bridge go on when booting, but after some time they just go out (and stay out permanently).  I verified the settings, and toggled ISDN off and on.  No solution.  There wasn't any info in the release notes, so at this moment i'm in the dark...  Anyone encountered the same thing?

Hello pnobles,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We have seen this in some instances.

As a workaround please downgrade again and in addition work with your Polycom reseller to bring this to the attention of Polycom support.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hi,

thx for this swift reply.  Any caveats when downgrading?

No,

not really.

If you work with your reseller / Polycom support we should be able to provide you with a hotfix for this if 3.0.5 is needed for a certain reason.

Best Regards

I think you'll find that if you now upgrade to V3.0.5, your ISDN will be fine.  But it's not obligatory.

I had the same issue from 3.0.3.1 to 3.0.5, dropped back a version & all OK.  Later needed V3.0.5 & the ISDN issue did not re-occur.

It's a bit odd, but not fatal.

Happy Tuesday.

ISDN issue came back so I'm back on V3.0.4.x until V3.1 rolls out. Hey Ho.
