Maybe someone can help me I'm trying to make a point to point call on a HDX 8000 using IP address and it won't connect, It will with e164 or H323.

Do you mean a SIP call?  Does the other end support SIP?  If E.164 works and IP address doesn't then its something to do with the subnets you are using.

Both units are sip registered

As your endpoints are registered there may be Dial Rules actions applied to calls. If you use DMA as a call server refer to 'Call Server Configuration' section in DMA Operation Guide for more details.
