2-digit star codes

Trying to get a Polycom SoundPoint IP 331 phone to work with the Grandstream UCM6104 PBX. Almost there, but I can't get the 2-digit star codes to work when the phone is OFF the hook (e.g. when dialing on speaker).

For example, to get voicemail, we have to dial *98. I have tried adding *98, *9x, and *xx to the digitmap, but none of them work.

Here's my digitmap. Can someone help spot the conflict?

[2-9]11|0T|011xxx.T|[0-1][2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[1-8]xx|*xx

Re: 2-digit star codes

Hello SIP-3903,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Read First"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Re: 2-digit star codes

That was all I could find when I followed the linked instructions. But I might have stumbled upon it -- let's try 3.3.3.0069.

Re: 2-digit star codes

Hello ,

that is the one.

Why do you not try:

*98|[2-9]11|0T|011xxx.T|[0-1][2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[1-8]xx|

Re: 2-digit star codes

When I move it to the front, I get a busy signal as soon as I hit the star key(?).

Hello SIP-3903,

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

I would upgrade to a currently supported version. Try UC Software 4.0.11 and we take it from there

Re: 2-digit star codes

Simple beginner's mistake -- I was missing the 'pipe' at the end of the last code. Didn't know that was necessary, but it fixed the problem.
