hello,

we are using VVX phones and SP-335 phones and we noticed that when the phones which held the conference hang up the call, the 2 other parties stay connected together and can continue call.

Is there any way to forbid this because it's for us a security whole.

Is it also possible to make conference with 4 or 5 parties ?

thanks

Hello Kakiman,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Due the fact that you did not post the currently used Software Version I am quoting from the UCS 4.1.0 Admin Guide page 413:

call.transferOnConferenceEnd

The behavior when the conference host exits a conference.

If 0, all parties are disconnected when the conference host exits the conference.

If 1, the other parties are left connected when the host exits the conference (the host performs an attended transfer to the other parties, this is the old behavior).

The standard setting for the above parameter is 1.

The Phones can only hold a 3 way conference.

From the FAQ post here:

Hello Steffen

Thanks for your quick reply.

Yes sorry, I forgot to mention the UCS version.

For VVX-300 and VVX-500, we are in UCS 4.1.5  and with SP-335, we are using 4.1.4

Thanks
