335 Line 2 random speed dials

Hell,

I have a lot of Polycom 335's, they are all running on UC 4.1 and BootROM 5.1.

I have noticed that some of them seem to have speed dials set on the line 2 keys, however they have not been programmed to do this, each phone is using the same configuration. The speed dials aren't the same either each phone seems to have a different one.

The Line 2 key isn't configured to do anything, is there some sort of default configuration for the line keys that makes them start functioning as speed dials.

Regards,

Re: 335 Line 2 random speed dials

Hello The Commodore,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Any Speed Dial that is programmed with a Favorite Index will be assigned to a free key.

If you only have line one programmed it will assign the speed dial to Line Key 2.

Removing the Index from the Speed Dial(s) will remove the assigned Speed dial.

In addition are you using this on SIP or LYNC ? If SIP UC Software 4.1.0 and 4.1.1 is LYNC only.
