Hi,

I am using Polycom SoundStation IP 7000 phone with Cisco Call Manager 6.1. Phone is working perfectly fine but do not allow to add 3rd or 4th call in a conference. The phone BootRom version is 5.0.1 and UC Software version is 4.0.2B. There is no additional license installed. Please help me to configure the set to have 4-Way conference call. Also advise if any additional license is required to achieve this objective?

Oct 25, 2011 Question: What is the maximum amount of participants in a conference call?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please be aware that the Cisco Call manager is not a supported SIP Platform for the SSIP7000.

Hi Steffen,

Thanks for your response and suggested link but it did not help me anyway. I am already doing 3-way conference cal and want to add another party to make 4-way conference call. What I have learned that by using Productive Suit License I can add 4-way conference feature. Please comment?

Well below statement from the FAQ post mentioned, in my own opinion, cannot be any clearer:

All phones support three-party local conferencing.

The SoundPoint IP 450, 550, 560, 650, and 670 phones may support four-way local conferencing.

Nowhere above does it mention that the SSIP7000 supports four way.
