Hello,

I wish you all first of all a happy new year.

We want to introduce 802.1x authentication in our company.
Question for this. Is there an autmatism for certificate distribution on Visual+ and Visual Pro?

How do you have to do this?

thank you very much in advance.

Hello buenyamin.demirezen@mtu.de ,

Update on this statement. The Visual+ can use a USB stick to set the CFG as explained here:

I already know the documentaries. This is the process for the Trio phones.

My question was, is there an automatism for visual+ and visual Pro.

When I create a ScepFile in the Resource manager I can only assign it to the Polycom Trio phones. The collaboration with visual+ and visual pro does not work via RPRM.

How do you think I should set up the visual+ and pros for 802.1x authentication.

I am looking for a way where I can distribute the certificates to visual+ and visual pro automatically.

Hello buenyamin.demirezen@mtu.de ,

SCEP will only work in a staging Lan aka set the configuration on the Trio or RPRM, provision the Trio and the Trio will distribute the configuration to a paired Visual+/VisualPro and then move the devices to the Lan segment they should be in.
