ALL CODECS enabled -- sip registration but no outbound call

Hello,

 

I am having an issue specifically with Polycom SoundStation IP 6000 -- when I provision with a/the default config pointing to an asterisk feature server, the phone successfully registers, but dead air on outbound calls. However, when I scale the config down to just the codecs we have enabled on asterisk (G719 & G722) everything works fine.

 

Wondering if fragementation, and if MTU is a factor here??

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

DHCP: Enabled

 

IP: 10.X.X.X -- removed 

BootBlock: 3.0.2.0024 (15600-001)

Bootrom: 5.0.1.10553

 

Can you point me in the correct direction for the mentioned issue?

Hello Mike,

You are running a completely outdated software and should upgrade to:

 

  • UC Software 4.0.11 and BootROM 5.0.11
