Hi Support,

My company recently bought a Polycom 8800 and I am struggling hard to configure the conf phone talk with AVAYA IP office manager.

I have given a 3rd party end point license for Trio but it show a Line:Unregistered error.

My initial guess was the issue might relating on AVAYA side, but it seems nothing wrong and have all the permissions for Trio to talk to AVAYA

Following are Trio 8800 specs

Version : 5.9.0.1.10869

SIP Server : 10.49.70.2

Port : 5060

SIP Outbound Proxy : NONE

SIP Line Identification:

       Display Name                  : 6710

       Address                           : 6710@10.49.70.2

       Authentication ID             : 6710

       Authentication Password : Password

      SIP Transport                    : TCP Preferred

Ping Test to SIP server        : Passed

System log receive following

0607164941|sip |*|00|Sip Unregistering user:6710@10.49.70.2 display name:6710 authorizing user name:'6710' index value:0
0607164941|sip |4|00|SipRemoveMonitoredUser : CSTA Line Not Found
0607164941|sip |*|00|SipUserRemove: user 0 being removed.

Help would be highly appreciated .

Regards,

Dayan

Hello @Dayan ,

welcome to the Poly Community.

This FAQ shows the minimum settings required to register to most SIP switches:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Can I register or is my Polycom Phone compatible with a “XYZ” SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Most people get a setting wrong which then prevents them to register.

The next step would be to troubleshoot this:

Jan 19, 2012 Question: How to troubleshoot Polycom VoIP related Issues?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

If this still fails and no other community member can help the next step would be to open a ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Poly reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
