Is there a way to control screen size?    The Active Call screen hides about 1/3 of the buttons.  Is there a configuration option for making this thinner so it doesn't hide as much?

Compare to yealink, which does not lose any information at all when having a call in progress.

Hello @intellasoft ,

first of all please update your old post.

Secondly, this should be what you want from the 1st FAQ:

A new parameter up.OffHookLineView.enabled was added. Enabling this will not show the standard Call Records when lifting the handset. The same is applicable during a transfer

up.OffHookLineView.enabled.png

This should work for a VVX running UC Software 5.4.4 or later

If this is not sufficient for you please work with your Poly reseller on a Feature Request.

Jan 03, 2013 Question: How can I request a change aka feature request to the current Polycom SIP / UC Software?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hello @intellasoft ,

welcome back to the Poly community.

Some or a couple of your old post(s) or reply(s) to them => here <= are still open/pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution" or at least provide some form of feedback or answer.

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice provided was useful and has maybe helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilise the community more efficiently.

Please do not simply mark them without any type of feedback!

For your new question the FAQ contains:

Jan 6, 2015 Question: How can I return to the default Line Idle Display view during an inbound call on a VVX Business Media Phone?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

and

May 28, 2015 Question: Can I change the way an inbound call is presented on the screen of a VVX phone?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Hi Steffen,

Maybe I didn't fully explain the issue.  The problem is not with the incoming call, but the 'Active Call' screen, when you're already on the phone (as shown in the two uploaded screenshots)

When you're already on a call (having already hit the answer button, or picked up the handset), the caller information hides and covers about 1/3 of the screen, also hiding programmed buttons and speed dials that are on the main screen.

You need to hit 'More' and then 'Lines' to show the full screen.

Is there a way to get the 'Active Call' screen to not be so large as to cover this information, so that these two extra steps are not necessary?

This is an excelent feature.  up.OffHookLineView.enabled=1  shows the full screen when hitting transfer, so that you can quickly transfer to someone without hitting the lines button.

Thanks.
