I am trying to add Forward as a softkey to the idle screen but I have struggled in doing so.  My goal is to have a softkey on the idle screen and have it behave the same way it reacts when you go to forward via the features menu.

I did find this

<softkey softkey.1.action="$FDivert$$FSelect$$FSoftKey2$" softkey.1.enable="1" softkey.1.label="Forward" softkey.1.use.idle="1" />

but the action action string does not do what i was looking for.

Hello Jeff,

have a look => here <=

Only difference between UCS 3.3.x when I tested this and UCS 4.x.x is that you need to define the forward number differently.

Jeff,

I have just tested this and edited the original Post with a small change and new example for UCS 4.x.x

Best regards
