Adding numbers to a directory/contact list

hi i have a vvx410 with 5.5.1.12442 on it.

Logged into phone and trying to figure out where do I input my contact list?

Want to set it up where I can push a button to bring up a company, then have all the individuals and their cell phone number listed under that company to where all i have to do is push the button next to their name and it dial them.   thx much

Re: Adding numbers to a directory/contact list

Hello hodor,

A couple of your old posts => here <= are still open / pending as you have not marked these as "Accept as a solution".

If they are in this state nobody finding them via a community search will know if an answer or advice was useful and has helped you.

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate ?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilize the community more efficiently.

In regards to your new question we do support a local directory but you cannot add it via the Phone itself.

The VoIP FAQ contains this:

Jan 6, 2012 Question: How can I create a local directory or what is the 000000000000-directory.xml used for?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above explains how to add a local directory and it can then be assigned to keys on the phone utilizing the favorite index.

You can also assign it to a fixed button following this:

Jan 12, 2012 Question: Can I change / re-assign the appearance of  Line, BLF, Speed Dial and Presence Keys?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

In addition we support industry standards like LDAP as explained here:

Jan 30, 2012 Question: Can I use a central Phone book or is LDAP / Corporate Directory supported?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
