Hi, Im new in this forum.

I have to configure a Polycom 550 SoundPoint. I had reset it with *486 procedure and I configured the Network with a static IP.

When I enter in the phone with the browser, I put the user:  Polycom and the Password: 456 but it not work... and I cant enter to the next step of the configuration.

I searched in this forum, and I found this: "[FAQ] What is the Standard Username and Password for a Polycom Phone" but I cant go on with the steps:

You can change the Admin Password via: Press Menu Key => select Settings => select Advanced => current Password =>  select Admin Settings => scroll to Change Admin Password

Please help me, I want to provisioning this phone vía TFTP but I cant do this, and I want to view the advanced configuration or can see this with the web interface.

Thank you for your answer

Hello aredjack,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We do not disclose in public how to reset the Phones if the Admin Password is lost.

Many of our partners utilize these phones and offer services so we cannot publicly disclose the procedure to do so.

If not yet done so please contact the seller of this phone or contact our support team and via the PPI fee quoted you can get the information on how to do so.

Best Regards
