I have no Administraor settings when I login to settings and input the password. It says I can only change the password or reset phone. Any ideas?
Is your phone registering to a Call Manager which may be controlling it?

We do not disclose within this official Polycom community how to reset the Phones if the Admin Password is lost or your service provider has changed it.
Many of our partners utilize these phones and offer services so we cannot publicly disclose the procedure to do so.
If your phone is still able to connect to the Provisioning server please reset the password via the Device Parameters documented in the Admin Guide or here

We will remove any post replying to this that will publicly explain how to remove the password.

Thanks for the reply. It is a new phone never used before. I have done the factory reset per the documentation. I can login to the setting using the default password.
The problem is I get no option for Admin Settings. I only get choice is to change the user password or reset the phone. I hope this explains my issue a little better.
Press Menu Key => select Settings => select Advanced => current Password => select Admin Settings => scroll to Change Admin Password
No it does not work either.:( Problem we have found out is IWe can not access the GUI because the HTTP access is not active on the phone. So we need to get into the advandaced portion of the phone to turn it on. But it will not give us admin settings as an option after entering 456
As already explained if you are unable to use 456 as the admin password then someone has changed the Admin Password.
You need to find out who this was and what the Admin Password now is or follow the Password FAQ and reset the phone via the DHCP Options and a provisioning server.
This is as much as I will state as anything else is unsupported and discussed in this community.

I believe SteffenBaierUK may have misunderstood the problem description. I face the same problem. I have the admin password and can get into the Advanced menu, but it only has two menu options: "1 Change User Password..." and "2 Reboot Phone..." The Administration Setting option is missing from the menu. My UC is 5.4.2.
Do you have any thoughts on how to fix this problem?
