Our customer uses IP 331 combined with analog Plantronics headsets via de 2.5mm jack.

Each call is answered with the headset.

After each call the headset volume is back at "default" level and needs to be adjusted. This is very disturbing.

What needs to be done to have the IP 331 to remember the latest used headset volume?

We use provisioning so store this setting in one of the config files will be ideal.

Kind regards, Frederik Moquette

Hello Frederik,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The SIP 3.2.2 Admin Guide for example contains this Parameter:

voice.volume.persist.headset

I did not look for any older Admin guide but verified that this is a Parameter that also works for UCS Software so settings this to ="1" will store the volume.
