Hi All
Is there a way an incoming call can be answered without entering a password on a phone that is locked? If its possible to have this feature do kindly let me know.
Many thanks
Val
Hello Val,
welcome back to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.
Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC / Skype for Business server.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes or the admin guide or various FAQ post's.
The above is also stated in the "Read First"
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
In addition it would help other community users if you could mark your old post's => here <= if a solution was provided.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Apr 23, 2013 Question: How can I lock my phone?
Resolution: Please check => here <=
The above explains that only since UC Software 5.4.4 we can answer a call without having to unlock the phone.
Your Phone is not compatible with this software so you are unable to use this feature.
