I have a unique situatiion. I need a soundpoint 335 to be an answer only phone and not allow outbound calling. I have tried the phone lock feature however I can not have the phone password locked from answering. Is there a way I can disable the keypad numbers?

Hello aadev-hcc,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Nov 4, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of an Hardware Button?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Above explains how to disable hardware keys. This includes the dial pad.

I would suggest to only block numbers that could dial a number that cost's you anything (depending on your dialplan) and leave 456 for the password or change the password to something else or you lock yourself out of the phone.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
