Hi all,
I've been banging my head against a wall trying to get a RealPresence Trio 8800 to work with a client's ShoreTel Sky PBX.
ShoreTel says this phone isn't supported by them, but it uses regular old SIP, from my understanding, and they do support the SoundStation IP 6000.
Shoretel's TFTP server seems to give the phone some settings, but provisioning it in the phone's Web interface does not work.
I receive a 480 Temporarily Unavailable message in the SIP logs when trying to register.
Anyone had any luck getting this phone to work with ShoreTel Sky?
Thank you!
Hello ,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.
This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
The above is also stated in the "Read First"
Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:
Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here
In addition please check:
Oct 7, 2011 Question: Can I register or is my Polycom Phone compatible with a “XYZ” SIP Server?
