Hi Guys,

I am busy setting up auto provisioning for our companies' Polycom phones.  I need to add a string on our DHCP server to allow option 66.  The strings needs to be specific for each model of phone that we use.  I want to find out if there is a wildcard strings that we can add in order to allow all the various models instead of specifics for each one.

Thanks

Hello Kobus,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

Above explains the DHCP string and our different models are all catered for via the 000000000000.cfg

Within there you would point the different models to their compatible SIP software as described here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: What is the relevance of the 000000000000.cfg or <mac>.cfg?

Resolution: Please check => here <=
