BTOE equivalent for Zoom Phone?

I'm looking for the functionality that the BTOE application provides to Skype/Teams desk phones that will work Zoom provisioned phones.  Does this functionally exist or at least in development?

I have to say it's a pretty big feature loss after moving from Skype for Business to Zoom.

Hello @jimn ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

The best place to ask for this functionality would be Zoom.

Alternatively, try:

Re: BTOE equivalent for Zoom Phone?

Oh I've asked there too. I think it's a reasonable question to ask here if Poly has a solution, or if they are working with Zoom on a solution.

BTOE is a Poly application, and we're using Zoom Phone on supported Poly VVX and CCX desk phones.  I've seen mention elsewhere of replacement to BTOE but I have no specifics.

Hello @jimn

we do not know if you have 1 phone or 10.000

therefore we offer the feature request route. Via the Medium of a Community Forum we cannot discuss any unreleased software.

Re: BTOE equivalent for Zoom Phone?

Hello @jimn

Is this meant to be a remote control feature for Zoom phone (i.e. use the Zoom client to trigger a call on the phone) or is it treating the phone as a USB playback/recording device?

You have not provided details in what you are after or what software Version you are currently running.

We have a PC Audio Connector app that was released in UCS 6.4.0 for compatible VVX phones.  It’s not custom made for Zoom, so there is not full integration, but basic control is available.

Similar on the 7.1.1 fur CCX connecting a USB cable treats the Phone as an Audio device in openSIP mode.

Please clarify what you are after
