Hi Dear Community,

 

I have a user ( out of a few hundreds ) with VVX 400 UCS 5.1.1 and BToE 2.3 that has his BToE crashing after resuming Windows 7 from hibernation mode. Probably other user user do not use hibernate or did not complain yet.

 

For a period of time this happens every time he is resuming windows or issue disappears for a while and then come back.

When the BToE application crashes there is an error message "UDP connection failed. Please contact your Network Administrator. Application will now exit"

 

 

I could not reproduce the problem myself on another PC / VVX.

 

I suspect another application used only time to time may interfere when it is already started while hibernating but as I am not an IT specialist I do not really know from where to start investigations.

 

If any one has met this issue before and have a solution it is welcome.

In order to troubleshoot this we would require debug logs and this kind of activity requires you to raise a support ticket via your Polycom reseller.
