Bad micro with Soundstation IP 7000 and Asus Chromebox and Hangout

Hi,

 

we are experiencing bad sound on the receiver side when using our IP 7000 with Hangouts on an Asus Chromebox.

Sometimes the sound is good and Hangout shows up to 3 green dots indicating good mic level.

Sometimes we are barely unable to produce one green dot with the next hangout seesion.

 

When connecting the IP 7000 with a notebook and using skype we do not see any issues yet.

 

But our company standard tool is Hangout. 

 

I did the built-in microphone check and it looks good.

 

Any ideas on that?

Hi Steffen,

 

the IP 7000 is connected via a 2.5mm calble having a sign on it saying:

"gor use with ss2 and vs500" and a 3m cable extendsio 3.5mm to go into Asus Chromebox headset port.
