Hi everyone.

I have Polycom VVX410 phones with UC 5.0.2 and 4.1.6 and wanted to make Blind Transfer more available and not buried deep in the menus. Read previous posts and came up with the following scenario. However, transfer does not go through, it stutters and returns to the call being placed on hold. Any idea why?

efk.efklist.3.action.string="$FTransfer$$Cpause1$$Fsoftkey3$"

efk.efklist.3.label="BlindTransfer"

efk.efklist.3.mname="blndxfer1"

efk.efklist.3.status="1"

softkey.4.action="!blndxfer1"

softkey.4.enable="1"

softkey.4.insert="1"

softkey.4.label="BlindXfer"

softkey.4.precede="1"

softkey.4.use.active="1"

softkey.4.use.hold="1"

Thank you.

Hello emazur,

When you press the Transfer Softkey on the phone it will then display the Dialer Menu.

The Softkey 3 in this case would be the Recent call list so I am not sure what you thought would happen.

You may have found a different post somewhere describing this for a SPIP phone for example which would not be applicable for the VVX Gui.

To my knowledge we do not support a BLIND command for the EFK Functionality at present.

If you could use BLF you could check this post => here <=

If you would need Polycom to add a $FBlind functionality you would need to raise this via your Polycom reseller as a feature request via a Polycom sales engineer and provide a business proposal why this would be required.

Above is required in order to track this internally within Polycom and evaluate the request and prioritize this based on the feasibility and the general impact on other features.

Your reply got me thinking in right direction.

I didn't really understood the action.string command until then. Looked up VVX 410 mapping and got everything working as intended by using:

efk.efklist.3.action.string="$FTransfer$$Cpause1$$Fsoftkey4$"

Hello emazur,

You are correct and your example, for a VVX300 and 400 will work.

The simple way of doing this:

<blind feature.enhancedFeatureKeys.enabled="1" softkey.1.enable="1" softkey.1.precede="1" softkey.1.use.active="1" softkey.1.action="$FTransfer$$Fsoftkey4$" softkey.1.label="Blind" />

Above Example will display the first Key as Blind once the call is answered.

Pressing it will evoke the EFK sequence and offer the dial pad as a Blind Transfer.
