How can we manage the Caller ID Blocking Per Call. Do you support *67? or other star code (Vertical Service Activation Codes)

Hello EVA,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC server

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

Can you simply dial this code to activate it ?

Hello EVA,

The software you are running is rather old. The latest supported for SIP is UC Software 4.0.9

I assume your digitmap does not cover the *

Have a look at this:

If we define the star in the digitmap such as *67 the phone will dial the number. How can we tell to the phone I want to block my caller id for this call

Do you support the follwing feature:

Press *67 (hear a stutter dial tone then a normal dial tone)
Dial the NUMBER of the party you wish to call
The polycom will send anonymous to the sip server

Hello EVA,

Our phone does not support such feature to my knowledge. I would assume dialing this code would prevent the server from sending the number to the far end.
