Since 5.3.0 version of UC software there have been a feature Enhanced Call Park for Broadworks (Broadsoft)

You even mentioned it in another topic:

https://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP-SIP-Phones/BLF-Park-orbit-Broadsoft/td-p/80133

Here’s the Polycom video how it should work:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_93tXu6FDlw

I'd like to find out exact configuration of it and which VVX models are supported (some documentations says it's VVX500/600 only but video also shows VVX400).

I've tried it on VVX 400 (running that 5.3.0, 5.5.3 UC versions) but it didn't work.

May I kindly ask to get proper configuration for this feature and whether it should work on VVX 400 (or only 500/600 as per partner configuration guide)?

Thank you!

Hello @VoIPonaught,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Checking internally I could not see a limitation for existing VVX models.

I attached an internal conifguration for the softkeys (efk_Broadsoft.cfg) and reg.x.enhancedCallPark.enabled parameter is described within the 5.7.0 Admin Guide on page 552.

You simply activate it and then use the 2 softkeys for call park and call park retrieve.

Thanks for reply

I've tried that and even more options on VVX 400:

test reg.1.enhancedCallPark.enabled ="1" feature.callPark.enabled="1" feature.enhancedCallPark.allowAudioNotification="1"

When I press "park" and ext where I want to park, nothing happens.

Phone (and PBX) logs show REFER received from phone side and then INVITE

Refer-To: <sip:callpark@..;orbit=XXXX

To:<sip:callpark@...>

invite is sent to callpark@mycomain... (which I cannot find in the exported configuration).

I realize it could be support territory, but wanted to confirm first if VVX 400 is supposed to have this feautre or I shoudl try on VVX 500 first.

I also removed EFK for parking (to avoid duplicity)

I've tried on several UC versions - 5.7 and 5.5

Steffen, are you sure there's nothing else that need to be added in config?

Thank you!

Hello @VoIPonaught,

As already replied I cannot find any restrictions when checking internally.

The next step would be a ticket being raised.

In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

End Customers are unable to open a ticket directly with Polycom support.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Sure, I already worked with "reseller" but first it was informational request that I need to ask here (as it wasn't clear for me looking at 2 different locations whether VVX400 shoudl be supported).

Quick question though - do I need to set this up on both phones (one that's parking and one against which it's being parked)?

Thank you!

Hi @VoIPonaught

Did you manage to solve this problem? I'm facing the exact same problem with VVX 450 using UC Software Version 6.3.1.11465.
