CX 500 - Auto Dialling - HP Support Community

Hi,

We are wanting to enable a feature where if the hand receiver is picked up, the CX 500 phone will automatically dial a pre determined extension number, i.e. 2220. Not sure what this this feature is called - off hook dialling or auto-dialling, anyone know if it is possible please?

I can't see any reference to it in the polycom user guide.

Hello Mike,

Polycom and other manufacturers produce these optimized for Microsoft® Lync® devices after a reference design and the embedded OS running on the phones is provided, supported and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.

You therefore may want to reach out to the Microsoft® community and / or Microsoft® support directly instead as this is the most direct and efficient path.

To my knowledge non of the Optimized for LYNC phones do offer this functionality and you may want to use one of our VVX phones instead.
