Hello ladies and gentlemen,

I bought a Polycom CX500 recently. I would like to configure it without Lync, but I don't have any type of access to phone's interface ! I tried to hard reset it and everything but without a Lync account it seems that it is impossible. Anyone with a similar problem?

Thanks for your help.

Harun.

Hello Harun,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

You should have probably made some research into this before purchasing the unit as the CX500, CX600, CX700 and CX3000 are LYNC only and cannot be used for any other call platform.

In addition there is no web interface on any of these phones.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Yeah I think I should've done a better research, though before I bought it, there was no information of such a tight integration with Lync on the website. It says it is Lync compatible so I didn't think that you can't do anything without that. Anyway, thanks for clearing up so I know now, that there is nothing that I can do furthermore.

Thanks.

Kind Regards,

Harun.
