Re: CX 5000

Hello perekime2yk,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The CX5000 deployment guide => here <= shows on Page 11 what different Flash Timings that can be set. The standards are listed on the table 15 on page 14.

You will need the command line based CX5000 Management tool which can be found => here <=

You can then simply use an free editor like Notepad++ to change the default DefaultConfig.xml file

Re: CX 5000

Thanks for your support, but the CX 5000 polycom when use to make internal conference the flash button works and can connect a 3rd party. but when done with external line it does not connect. what likely might be the situation?

Re: CX 5000

Hello perekime2yk,

so using the analog line connected to the CX5000 you are able to conference another call into the existing call but only if it is an internal phone call?

The CX5000 has no logic to prevent another call to be added if it is an external phone call.

I would suggest you connect an analog phone to the line and test the functionality and / or work with whoever looks after your PABX / Lines.

Best Regards
