Hi Community,

We have fairly a larger deployment, over 1000 end points of CX 600 and few numbers of CX3000. Recent order of CX3000 and CX600 came with the firmware CU7 (4372).

None of the devices are getting registered to the Lync (2010). It gives error saying user name and domain is in correct. Whereas in the error, domain is replaced by the username. If an incorrect password is entered purposefully it gives an error saying the invalided password, and the error is displayed with the correct text. This is check with USB plugged in.

Any advice is highly appreciated.

Hello Shahan,

welcome to the Polycom Community. I did see that you also replied => here <= and already received an answer.

Please be aware that the Polycom CX phones are using a Microsoft reference design and the software is provided and hosted by Microsoft.

The latest current Version is 7577.4397.

Our Polycom colleague Jeff Schertz has created an excellent troubleshooting section => here <= but you may need to consider raising a TAC case with Microsoft directly.

All support issues need to be logged via your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support directly.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

We are experiencing a similar issue. We are using the latest current version 7577.4397, and Lync Server 2013. I already took a look at the article of Jeff Schertz, but don't see anything that might help us. This really seems like a bug, since the login information is correct, but the phone is interpreting it incorrectly. Could Polycom please handle this with Microsoft? There seem to be more people with this problem, looking around on forums. Or has anybody been able to resolve this? Please let me know how... See the attachment for the error, where the username is "Conference".

Hello,

Please either follow this up via your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support or in addition as advised in multiple other post's raise a ticket with Microsoft directly as they supply the phones software and the LYNC call platform.

Best regards
