When connecting the ethernet cable to the CX3000 the cable must bend 180 degrees because of the design of the inset where the RJ45 socket is located. After awhile the cable breaks probably from people moving the phone around. Is there any solution to this? Have others had this problem?
Hello ron.lautmann@yougov.com,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
Looking at the User Guide => here <= and knowing the phone I am not sure hot the cable would break.
Is this the Polycom supplied cable or some aftermarket cable?

The cable that stopped working was a Polycom supplies ethernet cable that came with the CX3000.
If you look at page 2 of the reference manual you pointed out, you can see that the cable has to make 180 degree turn in a constrained area. This is what caused the break,
Hello ron.lautmann@yougov.com,
as shown on the page the cable is supposed to be clipped into the track on the bottom of the CX3000 so any movement would be impossible.
I have not had any reports of a defective cable in my area.
