Using Lync 2010 can the CX600 phone play custom hold music? I know the phone is capable of doing hold music since CU7 on Lync 2010, but I can't find any information on custom hold music.

Hello jwhealen,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Microsoft designed the software for the optimized for LYNC end points to provide the MoH unlike other PABX's where the call server provides the MoH.

 

The Software running on all optimized for LYNC phones is provided by Microsoft and to my knowledge the embedded music cannot be changed or modified.

 

Any queries in this regard should be directed at Microsoft support.
