We have a new Lync/Exchange 2013 set up.  The CX600 voice is working fine with Lync, presence is working, etc.  We cannot get Exchange calendar/contacts working via EWS.  We get the "connection to Microsoft exchange is unavailable" issue.  EWS appears to be fine, I have my iPhone with the Lync2013 client working with EWS just fine both internal and external.

The other issue is in one office after I log in exactly 2 1/2 minutes in the phone will say it lost network but then reconnects.  After that it's fine.  Another reboot and it does the same thing.  I tried different ports, patch cables on our Dell Powerconnect switches. If I move the phone back to my office, different set of switches, its doe snot have this issue.  My office has older Dell PowerConnect switches, where it's flaky has new Dell switches.

As issue #2 is a nuisance, I can live with it for now.  I'm just at a wall with the Exchange integration piece.  I do have the phone tethered to my laptop as well.

Hello bez825,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Could you be so kind and ensure to provide some feedback to all of your => posts <= as this ensures other users can profit from your experience.

Both the CX phones software and the actual LYNC / Exchange setup are provided by our partner Microsoft an you may be better advised to query this in one of their community forums.

In addition it is always useful to provide the currently used phone software.

In order to troubleshoot this you should utilize Wireshark on a spanned port, the IIS server logs and in addition set the phone to high logging.

Once you replicate the issue the logs & trace should be consulted.

If you still struggle with this you may want to consider to contact your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support directly but Microsoft should probably contacted first.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
