Call Park/Retrieve Design

I need help coding call park/retrieve on a polycom vvx 400 version 5.5.2

The design I am aiming for is to push the park button on a call to a blf to park it.

Then anyone could retrieve that call by pushing the blf on the right side of the phone.

I am stuck with my coding and this is what I have so far.

Call retrieve only shows when I initiate a call by taking the phone off -hook but it doesn't work

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also posted a pic of how the set-up should look like.

Re: Call Park/Retrieve Design

Hello @Jmiller100 ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

UC Software 5.5.2 is no longer supported and you should be running UC Software 5.9.6 instead.

In addition, it may be helpful for us volunteers to find out what SIP server you are using as the answer most likely depends on this.

A community search for the term park finds the following existing posts >here<

We also have an example FAQ post:

Jun 29, 2015 Question:How can setup a Call Park Feature using an Asterisk Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

In addition to softkeys and the restrictions around these:

Nov 25, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of a softkey button/use EFK?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Nov 4, 2011 Question: How can I setup a Busy Lamp Field / BLF with an Digium Asterisk SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Using an X value will do nothing:

If the FAQs and/or search results are not helping you and no other community member has anything to add the next logical step is to open a ticket.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.

If the unit is no longer within the warranty please be prepared to Pay Per Incident / PPI. This is all outlined in detail here

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
