We have recently been installing hosted phones using the Polycom VVX 500 sets on a Genband C15 switch.

I researched and successfully configured call park and retrieve keys on my test phone.  It has a single line registration on it.

I went to deploy several phones at a customer site, I used the same config files as I used on my test set, however the Call park fails to complete. I get an error message "call cannot be completed as dialed"

The difference being that the newly installed phones have 6 registrations each.

When testing, I would make a call in or out, and press the Park softkey.  On my test phone it uses the same line to initiate the park; I'm assuming it does some kind of hook flash as it only has one registration on it.

However on the other phones when I press the park key it attempts to access the next availalble line. For instance: Call comes in on XXX-XXX-4983, press the park key and it accesses XXX-XXX-4984 I then get the call cannot be completed as dialed message.

I removed all registrations from a phone at the customer site, except one and tested and the park functions works correctly.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I did try searching this first, but didn't have any luck.

I added the following string to my config file and it has corrected the problem:

call.stickyAutoLineSeize="1"

Hello dbergland,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

I would suggest you install a supported version of software on the phone before testing any further.

There is UCS 4.0.6, UCS 4.1.7 or UCS 5.0.2
