Hi,
Im sorry if this is a really stupid question, im pretty new to VoIP.
I have two SoundStation IP 7000s which i basically only need to talk to each other (ie like an intercom).
I can get them to work via an asterisk server but was wondering if it's actually possible to dial another SoundStation directly via an IP Address (so i don't have an asterisk server sitting there literally just for two phones to talk to one another).
If anyone has any suggestions, links or keywords i should be searching for it would be appreciated.
I was thinking peer-to-peer was referring to that but i get the impression that is for directly dialing accounts directly on other servers and havent been able to find any mention of peer-to-peer in any of the polycom guides i have seen around or searches ive made.
Many Thanks,
Martin

Hello WorawitW,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
Using URL dialing should not affect the phones ability to setup a conference call to two other units.
