Can't access any admin functions

I just got a IP phone SoundPOint 335 from a compnay, used on eBay.


I can't reprogram it because everytime I have to enter the admin password, I type in 456 and it rejects it. I have tried to get a response from my seller, but they keep giving me wrong info.


Isn't there a way to hard reset the phone to force it into the defaults? The problem with the "reset" instructions is that it requires the admin password, and it keeps insistaing that by default it is "456", but that doesn't work. My seller must have changed it somehow.


Maybe my seller will get their act together, but who knows. I'd like to completely reset the phone. I don't care about saving any of their info.

I would suggest to either contact the seller or open a support ticket via a Polycom reseller.
