Hello All,

I am posting this in hopes that I get some answers.

My company purchased some new SIP sets the sound point 450 and others below that.

I am familiar and have got other SIP end points to register but cant even get this one to recognize my NTP server.

Any one have some more in sight or tips on setting these up?

I have already followed the step by step application PDF and get dial tone on the set but cant call and the time just flashes and does not seem to be registered to the session manager.'

Hello Ifelix,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I am unsure what PDF file you are referring too but typically a SIP phone will create it's own dial tone so that alone does not show that the phone is actually registered to a SIP server itself.

The community's VoIP => FAQ <= contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Can I register or is my Polycom Phone compatible with a “XYZ” SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

As you can most likely confirm above shows how simple it is to register a SIP line to the Phone.

Jan 28, 2013 QuestionTime and Date flashing or unable to set time correctly

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Above also shows how to set a Time server.

If the above is not satisfactory for yourself to register the phones please work with your Polycom reseller to bring this to the attention of Polycom support.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
