Change conference phone 2033 from UNIStim to H323 or SIP

Hello All,

I have an AVAYA conference phone model 2033 use UNIStim (Nortel protocol) and I need to installed with AVAYA CM5

Server S8300 so is there any way to change Firmware,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Polycom only manufactures these phones for our third party partners so any requests like this would need to be answered by Avaya.

 

I am not aware of any method on how to do so.

I know this has already been answered, but I have had some experience with the 2033 nortel star phone. 

You aren't able to change what kind of firmware it's running.

I know with the Nortel 11xx series you can flash them to a SIP firmware from UniStim but the 2033 is too old of a model to support alternate firmwares.
