I'm looking to create a directory of contacts that is accessible from all of our handsets (VVX-411). I've added contacts through the handset on my desk, but they don’t show up on other handsets. I know very little about this kinda stuff, so please explain it like I'm five years old if you can. Thanks!

I have a similar problem.  The only way to add external contacts to your phone directory is manually punching it in.  More of my users are requesting ways to import or bulk load contact lists from 3rd party apps ie Outlook, GoogleMail, or Skype.  Even if I can do it from CVS or TXT file .... I heard some VOIP service providers that use vvx phones have figured this out but no confirmation

I think the second link ("[FAQ] Can I use a central Phone book or is LDAP / Corporate Directory supported?") addresses my issue, but it's a little advanced for me. I'm not quite sure how I'd apply that article step-by-step to achieve the desire results. Can you dumb it down for me? ELI5 (Explain like I'm 5).
