Before I pose the question, I just want to post what my goal is. I want to be able to access polycom VVX phones from the WAN into a LAN. I  can access one phone by  using port forward through a cable modem using either Http or Https port 80 directed to a phone. The I can pull up the browser for administratioon, etc

Is there anyway to customize the port for a given phone for web administration?

For instance,

Phone 1   port 1234

Phone 2  port 1235

Phone 3  port 1236

etc. This woulld allow me to input Port Forwarding rules that from the WAN I could do a XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:1235 and get to the phone?

Are therre any other options that  would allow me to remotely access the phones from the WAN using the Web browser?

Thanks

Hello paubrecht,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I suggest you look at the httpd.cfg.port and httpd.cfg.secureTunnelPort parameters described in the Admin Guide.

Have a look => here <= as you may be able to utilzie / rework some of my scripts there.
