The Polycom SoundStation IP 5000 that we are using is setup and configured correctly.  Everything seems to work just fine except for DTMF dialing for bridge numbers and some gotomeeting numbers.  

 

The strange thing here though, is that it tends to work for some new gotomeeting numbers I setup on the fly.  However, for some of the older gotomeeting numbers that we for conference calls, the passcode is not registered b/c the DTMF doesn't seem to pass through.  

 

Please help.

Have you checked above if you need inbound or outbound DTMF on the Number you are calling?

 

Try to troubleshoot using Wireshark as explained => here <=

DTMF dialing works for some numbers though, but then not for others.  

 

Can someone explain to me why this would happen?

Hello,

 

as explained in my original reply. Setup a spanned port, make a wireshark trace with a call to a number that DTMF works and then a call to a Number where it does not.

 

Compare the calls and check if the phone did send DTMF.

 

It may be a codec thing as some codecs do not transmit DTMF very well.
