Default display for VVX and wireless adapter

Hello,

Can someone tell me if its possible to change the default display of the VVX phones. In all the litature and product brocuhures you see this image.

However, our phones default to this

How can we have the icons show on the screen when the phone is not in use?

Also can someone tell me the most recent wireless adapter for these phones. Has this document been updated or are these still the only supported adapters?

Thanks

Hello TRRB,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Simply unzip the attached and import via the Web Interface. 40 seconds after any activity the Display will go back and show the menu.

  • Utilities > Import & Export Configuration > Choose File > Import

Re: Default display for VVX and wireless adapter

Thank you,

How about the wireless adpater? The recomended wifi adpter in the polycom documentation has been replaced with the

NETGEAR Universal N300 Wi-Fi to Ethernet Adapter (WNCE2001)

Are you no longer recomending specific ethernet to wifi bridges?

Steffen,

What does that imported file do in regards to fixing the issue?  Was it a bug fix or software update?

Hello JoeV,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

It simply shows the icons aka the home menu instead of the line keys

Re: Default display for VVX and wireless adapter

Is there any downside to using the icons as the default display?

Anyone have an update about the wifi?
