Hello community members ,
I was interested in knowing the development environment for SoundPointIP devices. I am working on developing an application that would test network characteristics using the phone as a platform .More specifically, I am looking for Software requirements such as Operating system, and programming interoperability, and to lesser extent IDE support. If my question sounds too vague please post below.
Regards
Patrick.

Hello Patrick,
the SoundPoint / SoundStation platform only offers the documented SDK functionalities. The main prerogative of the phone is to make and receive calls.
Any additional features are limited to the outlined functionalities.
The new VVX300/400/500/600 Platform may have future options but you would need to contact a Polycom reseller in order to work with a Polycom sales engineer to discuss any other possibilities.
Best Regards

Hi Steffen
Thanks for responding.
Other than the Polycom SDK, which is an XML based API if there exist any other development tool, I would really appreciate if you could post them below.
One quick question-What other programming languages (if any) does the soundpointIP support?
Regards
Patrick
