Hi

I have a problem with my polycom dial plan.

For Callcentric service, I need to dial *7501, *7502, etc to reach myphone book speed dial numbers but as soon as I push button for * (star), phone dials it and I get error message as there is no valid number like *

My dial plan is as below: (I think Polycom's default dial plan)

[2-9]11|0T|011xxx.T|[0-1][2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxT

As I experience that entering full speed dial (*7501) and then pushing DIAL soft key works well, I realized, I have to do something to dial plan to prevent dialing * until I enter rest of speed dial numbers.

Please help me 🙂

Hello ,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This is simply because an entry for special characters like " * " is not present in the standard digitmap as explained in the FAQ post her:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Phone unable to Dial a number when Off Hook or on 2nd Call in a Conference

There are already plenty of post regarding this within the community that should explain this as well.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
