Is it possible to dial a number by passing a URL through to the phone's IP address?
For example:
http://192.168.0.32?dial=800-555-5555
Or something to that effect.
I have a web application I was using with a Cisco IP phone which had this capability. Now I'm using a Polycom phone and trying to find a way to make my phone dial the number from a web page when the number is clicked.

Feb 04, 2013 Question: Can I remotely control the Phone or send content to the Phone?
Answer: The <apps/> parameter can be used to utilize the push server controls and more information can be found => here <=
Above explains how to set this up yourself but I believe third parties offer ready solutions for this CTI functionality.

Hello mwoffenden,
not in the Browser as stated by the original browser.
Future software versions may add additional functionality but I am unable to discuss this until they are released.
Please check the Release notes once new versions are available.
If you are able to work with a Polycom sales engineer they can share details once an NDA has been signed.
